OLC-2 is a device for liquid level observing and controlling. There is two potential free output relays which are separately programmable. The control relay has two separate contacts, one closing and the other one opening, both 8A 250 V AC. The alarm relay has one change over contact, 6A 250V AC. Both relays are easily programmable to many different function modes. OLC-2 has self diagnostics which gives an alarm if the probe or light cable breaks down.
OLC-2 senses the intensity of light coming back from the OLP probe and determines the liquid level accordingly. The amount of light returning from the OLP depends on the tilting angle of the OLP probe. The probe senses three different liquid levels, which are set by the length of the light cable and the
position of the cable weight.
The probe is made of polypropylene (PP) and the light cable is polyethylene (PE) isolated, so they are very strong against different chemicals. The OLP probe is delivered in three light cable lengths: 3m, 5m or 10m (the light cable
must not be shortened).
